Driving me crazy

If you plan to own a car in Denmark, you may need to be aware of the following rules:

  • It is illegal to start a car while someone is underneath it
  • Before starting your car, it is a requirement that you check the lights, brakes, steering and horn
  • If a horse-drawn carriage attempts to pass a car and the horse becomes uneasy, the driver of the car is required to pull over and, if necessary, cover the car.
